Big Deal?

I texted bear yesterday asking him if being a TL OIC is a big deal. Bear replied with "Oo naman, hindi binibigay un sa kung sino..  It left me wondering, should I make this a big deal or just do what is expected of me. 

I am honored that I was chosen to handle a team and I am very much excited with the task. I won't deny that i'm still at loss with the admin work of a Team Lead, given enough time (which I don't have) and practice and patience (This I have!) I will get the hang of it. 

I'm on my 2nd day of shadowing.  I'm learning the process slowly but surely. Admin is important but what's crucial is managing the people i'll be handling.  I hope I become a good leader to them. I hope I can make a difference in their career and in their life like how my former TL's Karlo Legasto and Arlene Doplon changed my life. 

Even though this is an TL-OIC task this will be milestone for me. Tomorrow is my 3rd day of training and wish me luck!
